This Beautiful Life…

Update.

So I know you ae all dying to know what has been going on in my life over these past few blogless weeks. Last week there was this little event at my church called VBS that pretty much consumed my entire life for about a month. We had over a thousand kids come to the Power Lab at Calvary; it was a pretty amazing week. So much thought and work went into making it happen and it was worth every second. If you want to see some pretty amazing pics go to www.calvarylife.org/vbs. It was cool to see soo many people give up their entire week to minister to so many precious little children. It was really quite extraordinary to see all those kids worshiping and so excited to learn about God; so make sure you take a peek. Now I have my life back though which is a nice feeling but I look forward to next year!

My little Val Pal celebrated her birthday on Saturday! Happy Birthday my little love muffin! I am so glad you were born! A bunch of us girls and her fiance B went out to dinner to celebrate.

Please excuse my awkard stance.

Please excuse my awkard stance.

I also got a chance to visit my mommas house for a couple nights which, as you probably can tell by now, is probably my favorite place to be in the whole world. My mom lives in the same house that my parents bought the year before I was born so all of my memories are in that house, it just so comfortable and worn in and perfect. We spent a relaxing day drinking coffee, getting our toes done, and sitting at the beach. Really a perfect day if you ask me. Minus the sunburn (its what happens when you DON’T wear sunscreen).
I have also been glued to the television watching these little games called the Olympics (maybe you have heard of them). Ummm, HELLO, Michael Phelps is my hero! I watched the mens 4x 100m by myself and was jumping up and down screaming like an idiot but it was AMAZING! 8/10ths of a second! Man, how good that must have felt.
I have decided that I will compete in the next Olympics. I haven’t quite decided what I will do but I have been hitting the gym everyday. Badminton will be my sport probably. But serisouly, Olympians are amazing people, so determined and driven, pushing their bodies to the limit to be the best in the world. There is a 67 year old Equestrian man so I have plenty of time! I should probably learn to ride a horse first.
